The crow struts through the garden with its stick figure feet and cartoon toes, angles across furrowed rows of tomatoes and beans, head bobbing like foam rubber dice from a rear view visor;
flexes its black puppet wings and fluffs its feathers, spreads a banana shaped beak wide open
appearing almost to smile;
poses for a pack of playing cards.
