Issue Three
A Note from the Editors

The submissions for Issue 3 overwhelmed
us.  Everyone, it seems, had a bridge
poem or five squirreled away, and
couldn't wait to share their work with us.

We read poems about physical bridges,
emotional bridges, dental bridges,
people with "Bridges" or "Bridget" as a
name, imaginary bridges, and bridges
between the past and present.  It was
amazing how people interpreted the
theme, and we were so privileged to
read all of them.

And then, there was Francis Raven.

When we opened his e-mail, we were
blown away to find he sent us bridge
art! And it was good.  So we're including
it.

And we've decided, should people send
us art, we'll consider including it too.
Why not?  We can always change our
name to Chickenpinata: a journal of
poetry & art...

We hope you enjoy Issue 3, despite it
being a bit delayed.  Let us know what
you think. We'd love to hear from you.

Thank you for reading,
~Eds.
